Cinema-Therapy

I had some cinema-therapy today! I loved it because I haven't done it in quite awhile and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A while back, when I first arrived in MO, I used to go to the movies all the time. I would often go by myself and then found out that I really enjoy going by myself.
But, before the revelation, I went simply because it took my mind off my problems for about 120 minutes. I enjoyed the escape into fiction, love stories, action, special effects, etc.

Today, I was driving home from visiting dad, when I got to thinking about my plans for the weekend. I really didn't have many plans ..... so, I went to see this little movie called The Waitress. It was great. I found it very appealing and I loved the quirkiness and the humor and the "normal-ness" of it. I would give it 2 thumbs up. Wait! I wouldn't say it was as riveting as an action movie, or anything like the Godfather movies....it's more like the Walmart movie or Fried Green Tomatoes. Whatever, I liked it.

It's late, and I am whipped. It is another busy day tomorrow.... so good night to all.

I went to see the Waitress and I too thought that it was a great little movie. I was so proud of her at the end!! I assume you are referring to the WalMart movie as the one where Natalie Portman has a baby in the walmart?? That cracks me up b/c Brian always brings up how I made him sit through the WalMart movie one time.

I was entranced! It was a great little movie and I agree... I was very proud of her at the end. And yes, it is the one with Natalie Portman. I thought it was a good movie too. Living in a Walmart...who would have thought?
