Another Vacation

Well folks, I think I am taking another summer vacation. I am going to go visit some of my other Christian brothers and sisters in the area. There are a couple of other folks that are going to go with me and we are just going to worship with some other local churches and encourage them and visit. No subversive agenda, nothing bad, just a vacation. There are so many other people out there and I am interested in them and in bridging gaps. We are family, yet because we see things differently we have begun to only accept those within our four walls. There are very few "family" reunions...because we have begun to draw "lines of fellowship" in the sand. If a church doesn't measure up to our "biblical" ideas or interpretations, then we "dis-fellowship" them. Sad y'all. That's just sad. Why are there so many verses on unity and yet we persist in division?

So, I am going on vacation. I think about 6 weeks should be long enough. That will give me 6 Sundays to check out 6 different churches. Sunday evening really isn't an option because so many churches now do home bible studies, so I think the Sunday am thing will be fine. I am excited. I have my list started and I am ready to rock. Well, you know what I mean.... hehehe.
