A New Look

Yes, dear readers, the look of the blog had to change! Since I am now MARRIED, I needed to make a few changes... one being my blog and the name. There have been some other changes (name, email name, blog name, address, job, marital status, location, state, etc) and each change brings about new adventure.

Did I mention to you that I am MARRIED? Yes, I am! It has been absolutely wonderful and I still cannot get over the fact that one day I was single and living alone, the next I am married and living with someone! It has a very surreal quality to it, but it is a joy. I knew we had many things in common, but my goodness. . . every time I turn around, there is another thing we enjoy doing, or do alike, or say the same way, or think of the same funny quote. God created this man to be a perfect companion for me. :)

We have gone to see many movies this weekend and we have also been packing. The packing has been fun because we have just been humming to music, working side by side, and laughing like teenagers. It's amazing how much stress can be reduced by a few days of time off with someone you love.

My Unsinkable daughter has been posting about the wedding and our family Thanksgiving. Don't let her sway you into thinking that the wedding was a "Jerry Springer" event. I know that children shouldn't have to watch a parent get married, but remember that the parent is a person too. . . a person who likes to laugh, love, smile, sing, and giggle like a kid. Love does crazy things to people, but eventually they come back to earth. . . along with a smile on the face, a song in the heart, and a spring in the step! Praise God!!!!

ps. No, my cat, Miss B has not returned. There have been sightings, but we cannot find her.
In addition to her loss, I have discovered that most of my family (old and new) are highly allergic to my cats. I have to find a home for Gabby if I am to have any contact with my grandbabies!!!!! Which you all know what that means. . . babies trump kitties every time.
