It's Good to be Home

We made it!!! The vacation is over and we had a great time. We went to see my Unsinkable daughter and the grandkids, then drove to AR to see Tim's son graduate, then onto MO to visit my family and friends. We stopped in KS to see Tim's folks, and then drove back home. We were Travelin' Macs to be sure. But, we had a great time talking, eating, and laughing with everyone which is what made it a great vacation.

I am happy to be home and we still have the weekend to recover and regroup for the next week.
(deep contented sigh)

I have funny stories which I'll share later, but for now I leave you with the best piece of flair I have seen yet. A cashier at Tru-Value Hardware was wearing a pin on her work vest which read, "I'm smiling because I'm organized!"

I should have bought two: one for me and one for Unsinkable.

I came here by way of James Nored. I know him from his days in Oklahoma.

We had a waitress the other day that had made her own piece of flair (yes, I got that!) that was HUGE, and it said, "The minimum wage is going up over $6.00 per hour, and I still make $2.15. Let's give the Government a TIP."

She was young, and had her hair across her eyes, and I thought if I could just reach up and tuck that unruly strand behind her ear, things would be better. :-)
