Thankfulness

This is Thankful Thursday and there are many things to be thankful for so I’ll try to limit them to just a few.

I am thankful for a job. In this current economy I’m just happy to have a job with good co-workers and a good boss.

I am thankful for my marriage – Tim and I are very compatible and our marriage has been a blessing. Second marriages can be very difficult – thankfully ours is not.

I am thankful for my grandchildren – Tot called me up yesterday and sang me a song about God, the flood, a trip, her brother, wanting to go places by herself but she can’t. (hee hee) Then Little David (not to be left out) sang the ABC song to me, told me he loved me, then licked the phone.

I am thankful for computer Solitaire. I really enjoy playing and it relaxes me – in fact there are several online games that I enjoy and Mahjong rates right up there with Solitaire. Seriously –who doesn’t like playing cards on the computer??

I am thankful for cell phones and email – you can talk to family and friends all the time. It makes it seem like they are right there even though you miss them very much.
