Baby Steps

Wow! God can certainly bring about change in a short matter of time.
My dad had a good day today. He spoke. He looked. He joked.
I am so thrilled by the change in him today. He isn't ready to run a marathon by any means. In fact, I don't think he could even get out of the bed right now...but the change from yesterday to today is miraculous! He will have a swallow-test tomorrow and if he passes the test, they will remove the feeding tube. I know he will feel better when that happens. Please pray this test goes well.

I am tired. Well, exhausted might be a better word than tired. So, this entry will be shorter than most. Thank you all for your prayers, calls, and encouragement. It has meant a lot to me and to my family.
