The Party and the Rant

I am sitting here at the computer typing with Taylor and Little David crawling all over me. We are getting ready for Little David's 1st birthday party. We have the cakes, the drinks, the presents, the baby, the clean house, the rested Nana, and the only thing left is the daddy who went to get the balloons.

They are crawling all over me! The Unsinkable calls him the little "flesh anchor", and I now know exactly why that is! He is all over me.... up in my grill as they say. Whew! The little man just buries his face in my neck and snuggles and hugs like nobody's business. I sure love that baby.

Now the Tot hasn't left Nana's side since last night's arrival. She woke up and we snuggled, sang 5 Little Monkeys, changed diapers, got little David out of bed, sang some more, snuggled some more, giggled a lot and basically did all sorts of fun stuff.

I posted last night about the polical leanings of christians and I want to make sure that my politcal friends know that I am not pigeon-holing them into certain catagories, or judging them in any way. It was simply food for thought. Something to mull over. Analyze why we think and feel the way we do and then line it up with Jesus and what he did and the way he did it. We are just sojourners in a foreign land. I think even scriptures mention aliens in a foreign land. So, if the foreign land believes and thinks differently from me, then that's ok. I don't have to buy into it. Bow down to it. I don't have to swear loyalty to abortion views or even have one myself. If it chooses to support it, then ok.... I don't have to. I can quietly speak my views to friends and family. And go on with life.
