Saturday

After all this time, you know that Saturday is my favorite day of the week.
I usually fill my day with rest, friends, food, and fun; today was no exception. I began the day with phone calls from some of my favorite people. I read a little HP7 and then got ready to meet Cheryl & Mark. We drove to Liberty to attend Carl & Darlene Ewing's 50th anniversary. Mom and Dad also attended and dad seemed to really enjoy getting out. We are all getting used to helping dad get in and out of the car and into his wheelchair. It takes a long time, but it's worth it. He has such a good time when he's out of the house.

After the anniversary, we went to eat at Abuelo's for my birthday. John & Lori came along with Kim & David Smith and their family. We had 15 people all talking, laughing, eating, and having a great time. It was nearly perfect. It was only missing one thing, but in time..... God will provide.

Please be praying for Kristen, Brandon and my in-laws. There are some recent family issues and I know they could use your prayers. Dealing with a family memeber suffering from an addiction is never easy, and the only thing one can do is pray. So, I ask that you add them to your prayers today.
