Trips and Adventure

It is great to hear about vacations. I love to travel and see beautiful scenery, lakes, gardens, etc. God has created such a diverse world and it is all so beautiful. There are giant mountains, deserts, gentle smokey mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, forests, exotic lands far away.... so much to see and do that it would take more than a lifetime to see it all.

I love to see the people, eat the food, visit the sites, take pictures of the land. I love to just stop for no reason other than to simply take in the view. Life is too short not to enjoy what God has created. From sea to shining sea, he has created a world for us to enjoy. And enjoyment can come in so many different forms, and I think one form is to use our senses. The mountains are a feast for the eyes. The air is wonderful to smell, the sounds of waterfalls are a delight to the ears, the local food a feast for the tongue, and there are always things to pick up and feel along the way. Traveling is a delight for all the senses and brings so much enjoyment. God is amazing.

Travel broadens your scope of thinking. It opens new avenues of thought, experiences, emotions, sensations, appreciation, and I think you stretch and grow as a human being. God can use His creation to teach us the lessons he wants us to learn. What better way of sharing your faith in a creator than to share His creation with others. Videos and pictures on a website is a terrific way to do it. You can also start conversations with people and share stories and adventures. We sow seeds.... seeds are words..... experiences give us the words to share with others. God can use vacations, people, and simple actions to His glory. We just have to be willing to let Him use us.

So, I think we all need more vacations. Maybe I should move to France. A 35 hour work week plus 5 weeks of vacation. Yowzah...... I could do that. I could take my American flag with me.
