It's the Way We Roll

Today is a good day! Besides being really, really, hot. . . it has been a good Sunday. I went to church at Liberty today and James asked a great question, "Is Jesus Worth It?" Is he worth changing some of the areas in my life? Is it worth it to give up some things simply because I want to believe that Jesus walked the earth, died for me, and rose from the dead? It seems so simply, even simplistic when stated like that. . . but it is. That is the beauty of it, it is simply. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand God and his love for me (us). That is the beauty of God.

I am going to spend some time this afternoon finishing up some of my chores and begin getting ready for the work week. I am going to work on PROCRASTINATION this week. I don't like it, but I seem to practice it when it comes to doing things I don't like to do. So, I am going to take a tip from FlyLady and use Wednesday as Anti-Procrastination Day. I am going to spend some time each Wednesday doing something that I have been putting off. I will let you know how it goes. :)

I am also going to work on tweaking my budget, cleaning out my closet, and working on myself. There are so many things going on, that I don't really know where to start, so today is a day of planning. I love to plan and make lists. I know that this trait of mine has been passed on to my Unsinkable Daughter, Kristen, who is also a Master Planner and List Maker. That's the way we both roll. :)

Anyway, have a wonderful day and I will see you back here later.

Cynthia,

Glad this sermon and worship experience spoke to you. I too was struck by the simplicity of the question, "Is Jesus Worth It?" when choosing this sermon title. Couched in these terms, it is hard to no.
