Movie Day.... with the girls.

My niece, Jennifer, was upset to learn that after the wedding, I am moving to Texas. It dawned on her that I would not be here for her birthday and she was not very happy about the fact. So, she came up with the idea that the "girls" should all go to a movie with her. The "girls" included me, Cheryl and her mom. What was the movie you ask??? The Game Plan starring the Rock. I wasn't that thrilled about the movie, but the idea of a movie day with the girls sounded fun. And it was. The movie was cute ($5 matinee price didn't hurt either), the company was great, and I always like popcorn. We laughed, we groaned at the schmaltzy parts, and I think I might have leaked a few tears near the end.

We ended Movie Day with a lunch at Zio's and we had some wedding planning time. It was a nice lunch with my sisters and I know that I am really going to miss that. People can spout "quality not quantity" all they want.... but that is crap. You can't make time quality time....it just happens spontaneously. . . . you can plan all you want, but sometimes it just happens over a plate of pasta on a Saturday afternoon.

I love my family and I loved movie day with Jennifer.

OH, lest you think I had forgotten........... SEVEN MORE DAYS.
