My Unsinkable daughter threw me under the bus and tagged me to do this silly survey. She is a glutton for surveys and thus assumes that we all love doing these silly things. (sigh) Oh well, for the sake of “good survey-manship” and the fact that I love my daughter.....I’ll do it.
What Was I Doing Ten Years Ago:
That would have been May of 98. Lets see…
1. Getting settled into our house (with a hot tub) in Michigan, surrounded by 95 acres of trees.
2. Planning Kristen’s graduation party.
3. Planning Brandon’s birthday party (in the same month).
4. Planting hostas and flowers.
5. Not working and loving life.
5 Things On My To-Do List Today:
1. Start sewing my kitchen curtains.
2. Finishing up our vacation travel list.
3. Do one load of laundry.
4. Cook some chicken for chicken salad tonight
5. Go to an outdoor “free” concert in the park.
5 Places I Have Traveled:
1. Mexico
2. Canada
3. Hawaii
4. Bahamas
5. 40 out of 50 states (it’s a goal to see all 50!)
5 Snacks Or Treats I Enjoy:
1. Chex Mix – Bold Party blend
2. Chips & Salsa & Queso – oh my!!!
3. Strawberry Hagendaaz
4. My homemade caramel corn
5. Bite-sized Reese’s peanut butter cups
What Would I Do If I Were A Billionaire:
I have lots of ideas… and they are a lot like yours, I'm sure.
1. Pay off all my family’s debt
2. Buy my folks a new ranch home, (complete with a walk-in bathtubs!) and a hot tub.
3. Buy land with a cabin and a pond for Tim in Missouri near where his grandparents lived.
4. Travel
5. Donate to a few organizations – HUGE amounts of money for R/D for diabetes and heart disease, drug abuse counseling, and to Anderson Christian School / Lindberg Road Church of Christ in Anderson, Indiana. Some of the finest people I know are there....
5 Places I've Lived:
1. Texas
2. Missouri
3. Arkansas
4. Indiana
5. Michigan
5 Jobs I've Had:
1. Worked at an amuzement park
2. Photographer
3. Teacher
4. worked at a hospital
5. worked at a law office and a bank.
5 People I'm Tagging:
No one… one branch of the survey stops here. Lets face it... we like to read them but we hate to do them... it's like going to/selling Tupperware, opening the door to Jehovah's Witnesses, or listening to Amway... we've all been exposed to it, had to endure it, and we never want to repeat the experience.
Can I get an "Amen"?????
