First

Yesterday was our first anniversary. Can you believe that? The time has flown by so fast and it seems incredible that an actual year has passed. We have enjoyed this time together and have often commented on how happy we have been and how fast the time has gone by. We have many things to be thankful for and spent part of last night during dinner listing all of the things that have happened this year and the blessings that we have experienced. God is good - all the time.

On a different note...Unsinkable and her family came to visit over the weekend and we had a blast. Tot and I got to ride the ferris wheel together and she giggled the whole time. It was so sweet. She and her brother rode their first rollercoaster together which about gave Tim a heart attack. He was watching them get in and suddenly got agitated and leaned over to tell me that this was going to scare little David to death. He wanted to get him out but by then the ride had started to roll. We held our breath until we saw his little face. . . priceless. He was yelling and laughing like crazy! He LOVED it. Tim relaxed, started to laugh, and ran over to Unsinkable to make sure she knew David was alright. It was so funny. All the adults were yelling, laughing, clapping, and waving like nutballs. Those little guys were awesome.

So I suppose this weekend was a weekend of "firsts" - a first time for the grandkids and the carnival and a first anniversary for Tim and me. (Thank you, Aaron...I'm a quick study!)
