Hello - I had to take a hiatus from blogging. We have been a little bummed here in the Fishbowl but I think we have made it out of the slump and are crawling back into the land of the free and home of the soon-to-be-over-taxed, but soon I'll feel good about being an American.... at least that's what Joe Biden said. (wink)
And something else. My cat, Gabby, jumped off my lap and her claw caught my Caps Lock button and pulled it off. Now I can't add caps with my right hand - so it's off to the Geek Squad I go. Unless someone out there has another option. Please feel free to comment and let me know if there are other options.
I fixed a great soup tonight for supper. The reason this is blog-worthy is because Tim doesn't care for hot food and as we all know, soups are noted for being....well..... a bit warm. Neither one of us wanted a big meal but we decided that potato soup sounded quite tasty. I threw in some carrots, onions, celery, potatoes, cheese, and then I cooked 2 pieces of bacon and added it to the top of the soup. mmm mmm good. Tim was impressed that it was homemade soup and not dumped out of a can. (Seriously, he is easy to impress.)
I got a call from Unsinkable today and my Tot said the craziest thing.... "the future is randomly generating." This was in the context of chastising her brother for doing something wrong. And she ended her lecture with that phrase. Unsinkable made her repeat the phrase three times because she wasn't sure if she heard it right the first time. Little David didn't think much of it, he doesn't have a clue what she just said. He's just happy that she's talking to him not hitting him.
Well, this absolutely random post must come to an end. My dryer is buzzing and I've got pants to fold.
Have a good day and stay on top of the world!
