A Good Weekend

This was a good weekend….on Saturday we slept late, I got my hair cut, we met some new friends for lunch, ate some great BBQ, had a nice drive, a nice nap, had family over, cooked hamburgers, had some delicious brownies, sat by the fire, talked, laughed a lot, and then went to bed. It was wonderful and Sunday was just as good – worship, lunch, friends, family and the Easter bunny.

I thank God for blessing me with a great family, great new family, good new friends, and awesome old friends. This week He has watched over my cousin, my daughter, my son and my DIL-Jennifer. He is faithful and just, he forgives, and saves. He never lies, never fails, never leaves, never yells, never cheats, never steals, never hurts. I am thankful for a generation of family that have loved the Lord and passed their faith down through the years and on down to me who passed it on to my children who are now passing it on to their children and on and on and on. Thanks to Jesus and his willingness to die – I can see all of these faithful people on the other side. Praise God to whom all blessings flow.
