We are keeping an eye out on Hurricane Ike. The Red Cross has already set up rooms in our church for the evacuees. The weather channel has started a crawl on the bottom of the screen letting everyone know the stats on structural failure of roof types, blown-out windows, heavy items not stored can become projectiles....etc. It is really heating up. I just heard 6 million evacuees - holy toledo!!!! We are about an hour from Houston and we are supposed to get 60-70 mile an hour winds and flooding. I'll keep you posted as things progress.
Wow! My first fall in Texas and look what happens!!
