Name 5 things you want to do before your life is over.
After typing this question, I had to think about it for awhile.
I think I have come up with my list.
1) Go to Europe and see everything I can see while I am there. Tuscany & Rome!
2) Go on a mission trip.
3) Take a cruise near Aruba or the Virgin Islands.
4) See all 50 states. Not live in them... just see them. At last count: 33.
(FYI-I have touched both oceans and swam in the Carribean.)
5) Fall in love one more time. (Brad Pitt doesn't count...but it's close)
Whew. Some of those were easier than others. I encourage you to take a leap and type yours out too. It gives us "cuspers" some thing to aim for!!!! :)

Good for you!! Now when you reach that state of obsession free state of health....let me know. I think we can market it and make a million. :) If you are going to take a vacation w/gramps and gram, just let him know. Jaques Pan-tey will be happy to pick a place. Freddy & Freda Fremont may show up too - if that happens, then who knows where you will end up.
Well, I might as well give it my shot too!
Here's what I want to do, in no particular order:
1. Retire to Colorado (at least part-time)
2. If God blesses my company the way I believe he will, create a trust fund to give away the bulk of my share of the profits to good causes
3. Write a novel
4. When I retire, get a masters in psychology so I can provide professional marriage counseling from a Christian perspective
5. Visit Russia
And, a bonus one (sorry to break the rules): be the world's best grandpa to Nick and Brandon's kids.
Here are mine, in no particular order.
1. Publish books on evangelism, postmodern culture, and team ministry.
2. Raise children who love God, have a healthy self-image, and are faithful.
3. Lead a church plant.
4. Get back in shape.
5. Finish my basement before I die. :)
Oh, yea. After viewing James' post, I was reminded that I forgot to put church plant on my list. Now I'm up to 7. Does that automatically get me the left foot of fellowhip??? :-)
ok. Now you've done it. I have to add church plant to mine as well. If someone is going to get the "left foot of fellowship" they better have 3 feet. :)
Bring it on.
BTW: Has anyone asked God where He wants us to plant?????
I've prayed about this off an on for several years.
It seems to me the best place to plant would be somewhere north of Liberty (such as Kearney) or between US 169 and I-29 in the Barry Road corridor. I don't know for sure that it's God's leading, but I'm prepared to give him the credit. :-)
My vote is for Barry Rd and 152 area. I will add this to my prayers and I know He will lead us exactly where He wants us to be.
I still think we need a road trip to ST. Louis to visit this other "church plant" and to talk to the flannel-shirt guy.
I lean toward Barry Rd and 152 also, since 1) it has easy access off the highway; and 2) we could all hang out and use Barnes and Noble as a major place to seek people. Kearney is a good place too, but I think it is still several years behind the other location.
