I have seen many top 10 lists, but tonight I have decided to just do 10 things that happened today. So without further ado, here is The Queen's 10 Great Things About Today:
1) I listened to my John Mayer cd all the way to work... LOUD.
2) I was given a cranberry/0at breakfast bar and drink from my sister. A surprise treat! Yum.
3) I got all my tasks done on my "to do" list at work. Super Cool.
4) I ate a good Subway sandwhich, baked chips, and a Diet Coke. Tasty.
5) I talked to my other sister and laughed alot. I really love laughing with her.
6) I saw some awesome thunder clouds and lightening on the way home. It was beautiful.
7) I drove out to Liberty to see my friend Lori. She had knee replacement surgery today.
8) I was able to serve her while I was there. I love being able to help.
9) Oh, I cut my thumb today at work, deep, but no stitches were needed, it was just bloody.
10) My cats are still alive. They haven't killed each other yet. They are too well-mannered. :)
As you can see... it was a typical day in the life of a Queen. Not incredibly exciting. Just typical. I like where I work. I like who I work with. I like my friends, my cats, and my apartment. I like my church, my activities, and most everything. There are very few things that make me unhappy. I can think of only one right now and there's no way to change it, no way to get around it, and no way to ignore it. It just is. So, I zip up my Positive Polly Pants and get on with life. God knows where my life is headed and what is going to happen. I just have to let him lead the way.
