Favorite Day

Yes, dear reader, it is my favorite day again! Saturday. My girls let me sleep in until 8:15! Oh joy. Oh rapture. May I say it was a fine sleep too?! There is something about getting in a few extra minutes (or hours in my case) that really seems to be the sweetest sleep of all. Miss B finally came up and purred in my ear. I think she was saying, "GET UP ALREADY." :)

My friend, who I'll protect from teasing, informed me some time ago that small talk was not something that he/she liked to do. In fact, I think he/she said they couldn't stand it. (I am going to rename my friend, this whole he/she thing is annoying.) So, my friend uh, uh, Arthur, really likes to talk theories and philosophies. I enjoy talking with Arthur because Miss B and Gabby just aren't into those types of conversations. However, when teasing Arthur about his blogging lapses, it came to our attention that the reason he doesn't blog is because most of the time blogging has to do with "small talk." Now my sister is the Queen of Small Talk and she is very, very good at it. I used to be, but I think she beats me hands down. She should blog but that would mean that she would have to sit still long enough to actually type. LOL. (BTW: she is much funnier than I am too. She would have a great blog.)

I have decided to release Arthur from his guilt of ignoring his blog. I have been throwing out casual reminders because I miss his posts. But, since this falls under the catagory of "Things Arthur Doesn't Like To Do," I am going to leave him alone. :) A good friend would do this for another friend, don't you agree? So, royal Arthur, I do hearby release you from your blogging burden. As the Queen I can do this. It's my blog, so I can do as I wish! (yeah me!)

There, my work here is done. I can now go back to my coffee, my porch, and my musings. It is so much better than laundry, vacuuming and bill paying. Those I'll attend to later. If I'm lucky I could try twitching my nose and maybe my cats will morph into servants and do those things for me......Riiiiiiiight. And that's when pigs will fly, eh? Oh well..... It was worth a try.
