It's Over

Yes, the weekend is over. Boy! It went by really fast. I did get some things accomplished, so it wasn't a total washout! :) Saturday was a great day. Sunday was an ok day. I spent the majority of the day at the hospital. Dad was having some anxiety issues and didn't think he was able to breathe. Mom ended up staying the night with him and even that didn't seem to help. He wasn't feeling well and nothing seemed right. I told mom that I would come and relieve her this morning, so after a discussion with Cheryl, we decided to head on down and we would keep dad company while mom went home to rest.

He did fine today. There were moments where I didn't know if he was going to be able to make it to therapy. His blood pressure was still low and he just was feeling "punky." But after therapy, lunch, and bed.... he was better. He asked me to read to him, so I gave him a chapter or two of Velvet Elvis. I don't think he will remember much, he started snoring around the end of chapter one. One would have to wonder if it was the reader, the book, or the results of a busy morning.
My vote is for the busy morning! :)

There are many people traveling this week.... Sarah and John are going to the lake. Cheryl and Mark (and boys) are traveling to Florida. John and Lori are going to Iowa. Other people are traveling other places.... doing their vacation "things."
I pray for them to have safe travel. No rain. Smooth driving. Not much construction. Cheap gas prices!!! I hope you all come back rested and relaxed.
Be careful. Love to you all....
