The Royal Agenda

Today is, or was, Saturday. As you readers know, this is my day! I love this day. I know you are just itching to know what things I chose to do today...so, I won't let you worry one more minute! Here is The Queen's Royal Agenda....

1) I slept in late. 8:00. How utterly sad is that?? There used to be a time when 8:00 meant that mom woke us up early to house clean. YUCK. Now, 8:00 seems like a luxury. And just in case you were wondering, yes, Miss B did wake me up at 5:45 but I threw some food at her and went back to bed! :)

2) I drank my coffee (nectar), ate breakfast, checked my email. IM'd with John about tonights activities with he and Lori. Dinner and a movie! Rock on!

3) Straightened up the kitchen. Cleaned myself. Drove to get a haircut.

4) Went to visit dad. Didn't stay long because he wasn't feeling well and was sound asleep. So I went home and ate a quick lunch and got the excess hair off my neck. YUCK. It was really itchy.

5) Met John & Lori at the theatre and we saw Evan Almighty. They heard it was good, I had heard it was good, so we went to see for ourselves...and I agree, it was good. There was a message of faith, of doing God's will regardless of how silly we think it might be...God is right in the end. Morgan Freeman had some excellent words about patient, self-controll, etc. Masterfully done. OH! And as my friend mentioned, John Mayer's song Waiting for the World to Change was in the movie. I love that song. (Yes, I am bitter that I missed his concert.)

6) I bought another deck railing planter and some various and assundry items at Walmart... where the masses cannot move carts out of the way, they buy way more than they need, and to top it off, they all try to check out at the same time, which is the same time I am trying to check out Beating!

7) I planted some new flowers, hung my fern, swept my deck... and am now enjoying the fruits of my labor. Right now I am sitting on my deck, in my chair, listening to John Mayer's Dreaming with a Broken Heart, sipping on my beverage, typing my list of Saturday's activities. Life is good. (Boy! I love these new baskets of flowers!)

Dear Readers, thank you for joining me out on the deck this evening. It has been a royal pleasure sharing my day with you. John Mayer is still singing and I am beginning to dream of roses.... have a good night, dear friends.
