OH MY STARS

OMGosh!!! I think I may be allergic to my cats!!!!!!!!!

Now, I'm sure you are shaking your head just like I was this morning. I woke up for the second day in a row with itchy, watery eyes, swollen eyelids, and stuffy sinus', and a headache. It could be a sinus infection, but I hardly ever get those. My cats do shed and both of them are long-haired Persians.

I know, I know... I hear you. I asked myself the same question. Why did I get another cat if I was allergic? Well, when I had one cat, I never suffered any of these symptoms. Once I added the second cat, I had bronchitus, strep, and now this. Related? Coincidence? Not sure. I will have to give it some more time and see how things manifest themselves.

The big question could be which cat do I keep? How in heaven's name can I make such a decision... and can I just pop Benedryl instead? They are both great and I love them both. I have had Miss B longer (2 years in Oct.) and little Gabby has been here one month. It should be a no brainer. BUT, Gabby is a friendly little thing and she loves to be petted, while Miss B is a little more aloof and skittish. She observes but doesn't really want to be involved.....unless of course it's 5:50 in the morning and she thinks the world will come to an end if I don't get up and feed her. (Silly thing.... she still has food in her bowl, but she still wants me to put something in it. ) This could be big, folks. Really big. I'm talking HUGE here.

Now, something else for me to say this evening... I have had some things on my mind this week and I have been praying for some direction so I can make a wise decision. I have asked a few people for prayer and counsel and they have done so, for that I am grateful. It helps to have dear friends and family that can listen, mull things over, and see it from all different angles. The pros and the cons all need to be listed and considered and prayed over.
