The Unsinkable Returns

YES, she's baaaaaaack! The Unsinkable and her husband, Dave, are back from their Cinquos Baby trip. (5th anniversary trip) She had said that she was going off-line from all electronics. But, the one thing I do love about her is that one morning she called me. I answered the phone to a whispering voice saying, "Mom. It's me. I'm breaking radio silence. Quick. Dave's in the shower....and I don't want him to hear me." God love her, she makes me laugh!!! We had a quick catch-up chat and then he was making noise like he was coming out so she hung up.

I laughed, and laughed, and laughed.

She pierced her NOSE. Yes, folks, the very same pretty little pert nose in the picture. Supposedly, it's a cute, "tasteful" spot on her nose. (sigh.........) One part of me wanted to rush right out and get one too. (We would giggle like two little girls!) BUT, I suppose the more conservative, traditional, older, motherly side of me thought differently. I haven't given up on the idea totally.... just waiting to make sure I am up for it. (hee hee)

Sometimes it's hard to believe she is really my daughter. She is spectacularly funny, and good!
