Good morning, dear readers! It is a dark, cold, fall morning, and I am enjoying every chilly minute of it. There are so many changes beginning and I am trying to take small moments out of my day to relax, deeply breathe, and stretch. A pad of paper and pen have been my constant companions and I have been on task for most of this week. I am putting my planning and organizing skills to the test this month!
Now, I have a confession to make: I am not a pet groomer. Yes, I know you all thought I was, but I can safely state, with all conviction along with proof, that I am not a groomer. I have been trying to groom my kitties and I finally did it on Saturday. Poor "B" was still and allowed me to give her a quasi-Lion cut. I shaved her and got her partially cut, but the tummy area is not open for negotiation and she promptly jumped out of my lap. So, she is 1/2 way done. Gabs is another story.... she looks like a radiation-exposure debacle... for some reason her fur is not accommodating the razor and she, frankly, looks like she just walk away from a fight with a shredding machine. She is just pathetic looking. It's sad. (I can't even laugh at them because they look so bad.)
So, after coming to the realization that I am NOT a groomer, my babies have a date with a 'real live' groomer! I will post a picture of them in all their shorn glory. They need to look good for when Tim comes to visit next weekend. He isn't a great lover of cats, and let's face it - readers- I have two, count em, two babies that are two of the hairiest things on the planet. Poor Tim is going to be covered in cat hair IF I don't get them to the groomers ASAP. And as they look now, he is just going to want to keep them for the joke factor alone! LOL
Ah, true love.
