My girls, Miss B and Gabby, (left and right) had to visit the groomers yesterday. They were in desperate need of an overhaul. Their owner thought she could groom them herself, but alas.... she just managed to mangle the poor babies until they resembled a radioactive accident. So, when I took them to the groomer-wizard, I requested the lion cut as seen in the middle. Now my hairy little girls are shorn, all except for "ugg" boot feet and a really furry head! Yes, I know it's extreme, but extreme hair calls for extreme shearing. :) The cat hair was out of control and I have a "new man" coming on the scene and he comes from a cat-free zone. My BIL-John accused me of doing the ol "bait-n-switch" on the poor guy, but that is NOT how I see it. I am trying to find a win/win situation... no cat hair/and I keep my kitties! :)
There really hasn't been any discussion regarding the kitties except for the one where Tim lovingly said that they were my kitties, I loved them, and they were coming with me. (ahhhhhh, new love!) I am realistic enough to know that two of the hairiest cats in the world will drive anyone nuts, so I had to come up with a fair alternative. I think this will work. :) And as a plus, they offer some comedic relief.
He will be visiting in 3 days (Thursday evening) and we have a weekend of sight-seeing, family-visits, and wedding "stuff." It is getting closer with each breath. I'll let you know how the cats do with a guy visiting the "tree house."

LOL...the cat in the 2nd picture doesn't look too thrilled about the new 'do. Rather ticked-off, I'd say.
Let me wipe the tears away, I am really trying to stop laughing.
your girls look so pitifully funny.
Have a great weekend.
Those seriously do look like Ugg boots. It looks like you slipped them on her feet!
