Today is Friday! I fell into a groove on Friday and that is the day I grocery shop. I historically have hated grocery shopping - and still don't enjoy it. However, it has taken on a different flavor since the marriage and subsequent move to Texas. There is a definate difference in the grocery stores here in TX. There is almost one whole aisle (I actually made sure aisle was correctly - it is.) devoted to just peppers and another aisle just dedicated to hispanic foods. A plethora- if you will, of mexican options! :)

Tim loves to eat - so cooking is a joy! I enjoy finding out what he likes to eat and then listening to him "ummm" his way through it until the dish is empty. He cracks me up. He didn't know I liked to cook, didn't even ask if I could, so this was a "bonus" as far as he was concerned. (hee hee) I fixed his two favorite pies: pecan and coconut cream. He loves chili - so we have had that too. I think he might have fallen over and died when he found out I liked to fix ham and beans with cornbread on the side. :) So, grocery shopping isn't the demon-activity it has been in the past.

Have I mentioned that I am watching way too much of the Food Channel? :)
