Another Gift??

Well, readers, I was given an additional gift for Valentine’s Day. In addition to a beautiful bouquet of roses and flowers, Tim gave me his cold. Yeah. That’s right. I am now the proud recipient of a cold. . . a vitamin-popping, juice-drinking, sucking-Nyquil-through-a-straw, Kleenex-toting, old fashioned cold. Luckily, I am not at the raw nose, face hurts stage, but I currently sound like Kermit the Frog and I feel like a dull pencil.

That being said, we have a few plans on deck for today and I am trying to summon up the energy and enthusiasm to pursue said plans. Tim and I have been taking little day trips here and there, looking at the countryside, stopping at little local shops, and trying out the local cuisine. It has been fun! And, when we aren’t sightseeing, we’re movie-watching. Today is supposed to be Tax day, but I think we may punt that idea for another one. I’m just not feelin’ the love. Kapeesh? (wink)
