Baaaaaa....Says the Sheep

I have been reading several different blogs today and noticed a reoccurring theme: Thankful Thursday. I decided to be a sheep and follow the flock down the trail of TT.

I am thankful for many things but I will have to start somewhere so here goes….

1) I am thankful for my bed. It is awesome. It comforts me at night and provides me with hours of snuggly warmth and goodness.

2) I am thankful for indoor toilets… I mean who would want to trek out in the deep snow to an outhouse?? Really?? In the dark?? Spiders?? No TP??? Gross.

3) I am thankful for real strawberry ice cream. When I need comfort food there is no other – except maybe chocolate.

4) I am thankful for fans!!!!!! Hot flashes SUCK. (Yes, I said it. I said the suck word and I meant it.) Tim is looking for a little battery-powered one for me to use at church. Isn’t he thoughtful?

5) I am thankful for my great family. I have a great family and they live in Missouri, Indiana, Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee. (I have great destinations for vacation travel.) Seriously though, I love them all – parents and sisters, nieces and nephews, kids and grandkids, outlaws and inlaws, ex’s and new.

6) And most of all, I am thankful that the Democratic convention IS OVER. Oh wait – lest you think me biased….. I will feel this same way next Friday when the GOP convention is over. I’m nothing if not “fair and balanced.” (wink)

I should have typed that last line using fair and "baaaaa"lanced. Oh well.
