It's a day of fresh new starts. My Tot started her first day of homeschooling today. Unsinkable posted a cute little picture of the Tot and I thought I would share it with you. She looks so grown up. I remember when she was born and the time has just flown by.
On a different note: Things are going great here in Texas. The university has started classes and the traffic has really picked up. When the students come back to school, things usually heat up for Tim. He has been called to the campus several times over the past three days to rescue trapped students, fix freight elevators, and to give directions to the dazed and confused freshmen. These calls take place outside of work hours so he has been putting in long hours. However; he is always good-natured about going out and since he has been doing this for 25 years….he takes it all in stride.
We went to an interesting class tonight at church called Living Your Faith. We found this class on the last night of the quarter. Rats! We had some great discussion and hopefully they will continue it next quarter. It has been good to hear how God works in the lives of other people and that in turns strengthens my faith. It reminds me that God is so much bigger than I can either ask or imagine.
Well… dear readers…. I apologize for my pathetic lapse in blogging. I will try to do better as the days go by. I am suffering from the blogger’s-blues. (yes, I just made that up) and I haven’t felt like I had anything to say or to share. I have been up to my eyeballs in work and when I come home I have just been too brain-fried to do anything other than Freecell or Spider Solitaire. (yeah, baby!) After some time off, I have decided I need a fresh new start too.
So, stay tuned and hopefully I will have something fresh and new to share again tomorrow.
