Yesterday was Sunday and it was, as my dad would say, a “good day.” Worship was awesome! Some services are good and then there are some that are down right heavenly! The congregation’s voices were full of emotion and were blending as one. The sound swirled around you, through you, and you could feel the presence of something bigger and more powerful than mere man. It convicts the heart that God is alive. He's present. And He is listening to us sing out our love to Him. All of that makes for a very humbling and moving experience.
When it was over, Tim and I met his son and DIL for lunch at On The Border and met back at our house for some homemade chocolate cake and conversation. It was nice to catch up, share stories and laugh at the silly things we have done over the past several weeks. They only live an hour away; however I do wish they lived closer. It’s nice to spend time with them and I enjoy their company.
Anyway, I have some other things to write about this week and I look forward to posting some videos of Tim using his awesome mechanical powers. Folks, if you know anything about him at all, then you know it’s only a matter of time before he dons a cape and mask for the camera. I bet you dollars to donuts that he’ll probably want me to call him something like The Amazing Elevator Man or Super Dude. Wait! I know! I'll post the pictures and YOU pick the name. He'll love that!!!!
