I do love to laugh. I enjoy a fine sense of humor, a humorously crafted movie, play, sitcom whatever. I just love it. I think that is one reason why I enjoy a comedy club so much – it’s because you know you are there to laugh and it just happens.
Laughs just happen to little kids too. I get such a kick out of listening to a baby laugh, to Little Dave giggle when Gabby the cat sneezes, and to Tot when she thinks she’s being sneaky. She giggles and gives herself away – it’s awesome. I loved listening to them laugh when they played at the playground and when they ride Grandpa like a horse.
Last week one of my co-workers told me I was surrounded by funny people and you know what? She’s right. My Unsinkable daughter totally makes me laugh, as does my husband whose favorite quote is “comedy is my life”, my dad who can always tell a story and crack me up, and my grandkids who make me laugh just by looking at me. The picture at the top of the story is of my mom, sister Cheryl, and I at my BIL-Mark's birthday and we were giggling just like a bunch of girls and having a great time. God has blessed me with the desire to find the humor in things and then proceeded to surround me with people who laugh with me and make me laugh on a daily basis.
Some think that chicken soup is good for the soul; however I personally think it’s the belly laugh.
