Saturday Eve

Good Saturday Eve to you all!!! If you are a reader of the Observations, then you'll know that I love Saturdays. It is my favorite day of the week, next to Friday night. I do what I want on Saturdays. I fill it with the things that I love to do, want to do, and need to do. I choose. It is a day that I enjoy from morning to night. It has historically been a great day!

I am up, drinking coffee, watching a beautiful sunrise, and listening to Steven Bishop singing "On and On." (a golden oldie for you younger readers) The weather is a cool 58 and fall is beginning to whisper its arrival. I can't wait! The cooler weather is a sign that my favorite time of the year is just around the corner and with it comes a new chapter in my life. It is going to be a time of change, a time of laughter, a time of love, and a time of new experiences. God is good and He is one that gives good gifts! I can hardly wait to see what He has in store for me.

My Tot will be 3 tomorrow! It doesn't seem possible that she has been with me for three years. I remember when she was born and flying to see her. She was precious and I couldn't believe I was a grandmother! I didn't seem old enough, yet there was my daughter holding her daughter. Another generation of women who love the Lord! My Unsinkable daughter has an unsinkable daugher.... the Lord is good! I hope I can be an Unsinkable Queen and teach my grandbabies how to be unsinkable.... it is because of God and his mercy and forgiveness that allows me and my daughter to live an unsinkable life.... we stay alive with hope and we have a love of life that comes from the Giver of Life. We have experienced a lot of heartache and a broken family... but God heals everything and brings healing in different ways. I have found that he loves to use fish... from catching them, to feeding them to the 5,000 and to giving them to me to love. (wink) He does have a sense of humor!

Well, dear readers, it is time for me to start getting ready for another day of life! I can't wait to see what God has in store for me today. I am ready to meet the day with a song in my heart, a spring in my step, and a smile on my face. I have so much to observe today!
