Yes, it’s another Monday and it’s time to face the work week. It’s hard to jump up and start getting ready because I have my hot cup of coffee beside me and my kitten snoozed on my neck and I am really enjoying the moment. She loves to curl up on a chest with her head tucked up under the chin. Yesterday she spent the whole evening cuddled up next to Tim. . . I think I heard him purr too.
Tim and I have been having several discussions about health care issues, illegal aliens and border control, home improvement, kittens, movies, cooking, eating, and a whole host of other topics from foot care to buying new shampoo. Most of the time we laugh, but there are the “serious” conversations that allow us to stretch and pull at our beliefs and our convictions. He constantly writes to his congressmen/women and has an active political life and it has made me aware of my own or lack thereof.
We went to see two movies over the weekend: District 9 and Julie/Julia. One was bad; one was not bad. Guess which one was which?
