A Fish Exclusive Update

Several new things have happened in the Fish house: we got a new kitten and we went to a townhall meeting and my granddaughter cut her own hair.

Now the kitten has been with us for about 3 weeks and she has her good days and her bad days. When she scratches me – that’s a bad day. Her name is Spazmina – Spaz because, well – she’s a spaz. The “mina” is once the spaz phase is over she’ll need a little more feminine name. She is a gray kitty and we got her from a nice lady outside of Lowes. The little kitty chases Gabby and is quite the little gymnist. She’s had her first set of kitty shots and is getting the hang of living in the house of Fish.

The second thing in the list was the townhall meeting. We were two out of 1200 attendees at our community center that were allowed entrance to listen to our House representative answer questions on the health care issues and answer other questions put forth by concerned citizens. It was civilized but the crowd was definately telling Chet Edwards how they felt about the issues and his answers. It was a great display of how our government works. Now if we can just believe him when he says he will “read this bill before he votes.”

Cutting hair was the third item mentioned, and yes, Tot cut her bangs at her hairline along with a piece down by her chin. She had good reasons and then thoughtfully cleaned up her mess before showing her mother her “new do.” I had to chuckle because her mother shaved her eyebrows when she was in the 4th grade – so what are short bangs compared to a hairless face!?!

If I remember correctly, that was at the same time that she shaved her arm hair off also.
